DMD blockchain for dApp 💥 ⠀ Blockchain is the basis of a decentralized application. So, all the users' data who use the application is stored inside the blockchain. ⠀ What are the main blockchain requirements for dApps today? ⠀ — Reliability; — Operation speed; — Cheapness; — Availability of smart contracts — Run on the top of a true decentral blockchain platform ⠀ And the DMD blockchain falls under all these requirements. ⠀ The reliability of the blockchain is provided by a dual consensus algorithm, and to be more precise, HBBFT is responsible for security, speed, dynamic blocktimes and instant finality (an industry-wide unique feature set). ⠀ The guarantee of decentralization and fair node election process is the job of the supporting dPoS like element. This way we have the speed and features from HBBFT and still the decentralization and big candidate pool of a true decentral leaderless blockchain system. ⠀ Because the DMD Diamond v4 implementation of this technology has a much bigger blockgaslimit (1000 mgas instead of 12.5 mgas) and much higher blockspeed (dynamic as fast as nearly 1 block per second if needed) and resulting can compute more transaction per second, it is cheaper to do transactions. The faster transactions are, the cheaper they are, and smart contracts are an integral DMD tool.
